Each field trip has a max. of 25 students

parking lot of HRSD VIP BNR Wastewater Treatment Plant.

*HRSD = Hampton Roads Sanitation District
*VIP = Virginia Initiative Plant
*BNR = Biological Nutrient Removal

| Transportation |
Bring your own vehicle or car-pool with others.
Or you can walk to the plant (it takes about 15 min. from the Webb Center).
You can take either 49th St. or 43rd St. to the VIP plant. (See the map below)

| Extra Credit !! |
This field trip is not mandatory.
However it is very, very strongly recommended -- it will help you in
connecting class topics with real-world examples for sure.
Extra credit of 3% toward the Total (=100%) will be given
if you take this field trip!
